
Cellular service providers have begun the gradual shutdown of 3G networks across the country.
This change may impact your equipment if you rely on an internet connection via the cellular network.
Affected Equipment:
ICG8x Series:
• Units with a serial number lower than 2923150 are equipped with a 3G modem.
ICG60 Series:
• Units with a serial number lower than 2679100 are equipped with a 3G modem.
CS20:
• CS20 3.75G and CS20 CDMA units are equipped with a 3G modem.
GS14 & GS15:
• These units are equipped with 2G or 3G modems.
CS15 Data Collectors:
• These are equipped with 2G/2.5G/3G/CDMA modems and are now considered obsolete.
Transition Timeline:
The timeline for the 3G shutdown varies by provider.
Some have already deactivated their networks, while others are still in the announcement or planning phase.
