The Leica Tri-Sonic ultrasound sensor uses the concrete curb, the adjacent surface (as a reference) or even a wire to guide the grader’s blade. This optional element can be installed on a single or on both sides of the blade to complement the 2D and 3D Leica Geosystems guidance systems. It also offers the interesting opportunity to direct the lateral movements (side-shift) of the grader’s blade.
